400;\">Este trabajo re\u00fane algunas ideas exploradas durante mi residencia de tres meses en el Centro de las Artes de San Agust\u00edn, en Oaxaca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: inherit; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante este tiempo, entabl\u00e9 un di\u00e1logo con una inteligencia artificial.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le hice preguntas sobre su naturaleza, su funcionamiento, su percepci\u00f3n de s\u00ed misma.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lo que intent\u00e9 captar no fue una respuesta clara, sino una forma de presencia parad\u00f3jica: sin cuerpo, sin origen, sin memoria propia.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lo que me interesa es la imposibilidad de la representaci\u00f3n.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lo que el lenguaje revela y lo que no logra traducir.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: inherit; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las obras que resultan de este proceso no son representaciones ni ilustraciones.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Son fragmentos, estructuras en tensi\u00f3n, formas provisionales.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traducen, de manera sensible, l\u00f3gicas de procesamiento, de circulaci\u00f3n o de estratificaci\u00f3n.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n atravesadas por errores, desplazamientos, superposiciones que reflejan la naturaleza inestable del di\u00e1logo entablado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: inherit; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><b>Los cuerpos de las m\u00e1quinas espirituales<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pone en relaci\u00f3n dos sistemas:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">un sistema algor\u00edtmico, abstracto, sin cuerpo,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y una pr\u00e1ctica art\u00edstica arraigada en el gesto, la materia y el tiempo.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Materiales y t\u00e9cnicas<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La residencia en San Agust\u00edn me permiti\u00f3 entrar en contacto con otros gestos, otros materiales, otras maneras de hacer.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La relaci\u00f3n con los materiales es profunda, precisa, transmitida a trav\u00e9s de pr\u00e1cticas vivas.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trabaj\u00e9 con fibras locales, descubr\u00ed procesos que no conoc\u00eda y adapt\u00e9 mi forma de componer de acuerdo a los recursos disponibles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este desplazamiento, esta adaptaci\u00f3n, transformaron mi forma de abordar la materia.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Algunas obras surgieron a partir de nuevas limitaciones materiales; otras, simplemente al manipular un material desconocido.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ese ir y venir entre t\u00e9cnica y reflexi\u00f3n enriqueci\u00f3 el proceso:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">el material no vino a ilustrar una idea \u2014 la desplaz\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: inherit; white-space: pre-wrap; text-align: right;\"><br style=\"font-weight: 400;\" \/>Cyndie Belhumeur<\/p>\n<p><i style=\"font-family: inherit; white-space: pre-wrap;\">La presente exposici\u00f3n es el resultado de la residencia <\/i><i style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">art\u00edstica que Belhumeur realiz\u00f3 de febrero a abril de 2025 en el CaSa por <\/i><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"><i>parte<\/i><\/span><i style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"> del Consejo de Artes y Letras de <\/i><i style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Quebec (CALQ, por sus <\/i><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"><i>siglas<\/i><\/span><i style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"> en franc\u00e9s) a trav\u00e9s del Sistema de Apoyos a la Creaci\u00f3n y Proyectos Culturales (SACPC).<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div title=\"Page
