En 2007, fue artista residente en el Centro NUS para las Artes en Singapur. Ha recibido m\u00faltiples premios y subvenciones, incluida la subvenci\u00f3n de la Fundaci\u00f3n de Nueva York para las Artes en 2008. Su trabajo forma parte de colecciones importantes como la Colecci\u00f3n Daros Latinoam\u00e9rica en Z\u00fcrich. Su trabajo ha sido revisado en revistas importantes, como Flash Art; Arte, Noticias y Arte en Am\u00e9rica. Ha tenido exposiciones individuales en Nueva York, Jap\u00f3n, Madrid, Par\u00eds y M\u00e9xico. Su trabajo ha sido mostrado en el Instituto de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo CCA Wattis en San Francisco; Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sof\u00eda en Madrid y La VIII Bienal de La Habana entre otros lugares. Extender\u00e1n el concepto de lo fotogr\u00e1fico m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de su uso como medio de expresi\u00f3n personal mediante una revisi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica para entender su pertinencia en la creaci\u00f3n contempor\u00e1nea.<\/p>\n<p>Discutir\u00e1n los usos de las im\u00e1genes t\u00e9cnicas dentro del arte contempor\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n<p>Revisar\u00e1n creadores contempor\u00e1neos con especial atenci\u00f3n a aquellos que han formulado su trabajo como una cr\u00edtica de la imagen. Y revisar\u00e1n textos claves de la historia de la fotograf\u00eda para comprender algunos conceptos fundamentales e identificar las preocupaciones actuales del pensamiento te\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div class='avia-data-table-wrap avia_responsive_table'><table class='avia-table avia-data-table avia-table-1  avia_pricing_default'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Table\" ><tbody><tr class='avia-heading-row'><th class=''>Objetivos:<\/th><\/tr><tr class=''><td class=''>Identificar los alcances de lo fotogr\u00e1fico en la cultura visual contempor\u00e1nea a partir de comprender la naturaleza del medio y la manera en que, a lo largo de su historia, se ha relacionado con la noci\u00f3n de realidad. Haremos un an\u00e1lisis sobre la complejidad de las im\u00e1genes t\u00e9cnicas en un mundo en el que lo fotogr\u00e1fico ha ido perdiendo su especificidad no s\u00f3lo como noci\u00f3n si no
